Recently drove back from Birmingham, and instead of sitting in traffic I opted for a couple hours at Mardi Gras. When I arrived, I walked through the front door and into the club. In front of the bar there are two small stages, with a much larger (main stage) directly in front of the bar in the open area. To the left of the main stage, there is also another smaller stage that is near a smaller bar. Now that everyone is confused, let's move on to the review.
There were several girls on lock down, so I had to walk around a bit before I found someone available for a dance. The first girl I sampled was Trinity, a cute, thin black girl. Instead of opting for the 100℅ air dances down on the floor, I paid $10 extra to go upstairs for the more expensive air dances on a couch. Overall, she did a pretty good job. If you have "Follies" expectations, you will not enjoy Mardi Gras. However, if you know what you are getting yourself into, you can still have a non-Journey like experience (you know, no Lovin', Touchin', Healin').
After Trinity, I was ran into Montana, an incredibly fit and attractive blonde. I was just about out of money, and she encouraged me to hit up the ATM so I could stick around a little bit longer. I had fun with Montana. She has a great personality, but also looks really, really good. I'll go back just to see her again. Great conversation and some fun dances.
Not a bad trip to Mardi Gras. I kept my expectations low, and it exceeded them.
