Not great

After two disappointing dances at Scarlett's I decided to try somewhere new. Never been to Odyssey before even though I've been to Mons across the street a couple of times. Cover charge was $20 but they gave me a text to code from my phone for a free $5 water. Having trouble redeeming it the bartender grabbed my phone to help and set my default mobile browser page to their home page. Ooops, glad I caught that. Probably stupid to let them text me but there is a "stop" that you can text to opt out and so far it has worked. Arrived about 1 AM. There were about 8-9 dancers at this time. A lot for later at night except for maybe the fact that they closed like 4 AM, so you'd like to think there would still be some reasonable choices. Didn't really see any my type. Thin, buxom, white, with few to no tattoos. Had an interesting conversation with Amber and she eventually convinced me to take her for a couple of dances. She was a bit on the heavier side but had a pretty face and nice chest work. On the positive side we entered mid dance and she gave me a nice massage for a minute or two before the start. Got two dances from her that were fine but not exceptional, meaning that I wasn't going to need to go to the dry cleaners. No extras were solicited or offered. She mentioned that she had also danced at Scarlett's which has a reputation and which suggested that maybe more was available. Perhaps in the private area but not the regular dance area. Anyway, $60 for a nice set of dances but left humming that old Mick Jagger song. "I can't get no..." After effectively striking out at two of the better Tampa places decided to call it a night. Might go back again, but felt it was much more expensive than Scarlett's for an equal experience with less chance of extras from what I could see and a poorer selection from what I remember at Mons.
