Never a bad time at the Downer

I live on the US side of the boarder, so the Sundowner is only a 15 minute drive with no traffic. When you first walk in there is usually a $5 cover. The bouncers seem to keep to themselves. I've never had any trouble. The club is set up with a main stage in the center that is flanked on each side with smaller tables for table dances. I believe they were $10 CA. Mixed drinks can be a little pricey and are a little waterd down at $7-$8 so I just sticking to beer if you're trying to make your money last. The girls are usually pretty friendly and not too pushy. If you hold out long enough you're guaranteed to have whatever your type is eventually walk by. Lots of variety. There is usually only one dancer on the stage at a time for 3 songs. The best part was at midnight there's a lineup Cathouse style and everyone in the club got a free table dance. Mine included two pretty hot girls going down on each other! God bless Canada. There's usually a few girls who will hint around about extras if that's your thing, but be careful. Waitresses will pretty aggressively "ask if you need a drink" when you're in the middle of a private dance. I think that's to discourage actual sex. Overall I love this club and highly recommend it to anyone passing though with some free time on their hands.
