Manila

Had a stopover in Manila, so decided to make a return visit to P Burgos street and Jool's. Arrived just at the time of the stage show . This features eight girls that perform a coordinated routine . One dance was Persian, another a lot of shaking , but nothing that I would call particularly sexy . I would hate to be one of the regular bar girls that has to watch the show over and over again . It gets boring fast .

The bar next door is called Horizon . It also has a show , but is a bit higher quality than Jool's. Again the same kind of coordinated dance . Horizon's regular dancers were better than the Jool's girls, as they had more shapely figures and we're taller, rather than the skinny frames that one finds at a lot of clubs in Manila . Overall , there wasn't much happening at the clubs , buy I'll give them a break since it was Monday night .

A night in Manila can get expensive , depending on how you look at it . Bar fine is 3,000 peso ($60 ) , plus the amount to the girl 3,000 to 5,000 peso ($60 to $100), plus drinks for you and the girls , and figure in some bar hopping 3,000 peso ( $60 ) , so you are looking at $220 + for the night . Not bad compared to a lot of clubs in the US , but then again , you may not find the same quality either .
