Maya saved the day

Well it was one of those days. Work sucked. Deadlines were coming up. The wife was nagging me all weekend. I needed to get out and have a little fun. So, the standby BML was the choice of forums. I stopped by and saw a handful of dancers. Nothing too exciting. First girl stops by who I had never seen before (and sadly hope I never see again). Although friendly, she looked to be close to 60 and fairly round. I politely declined the dance request and began to panic. Did I seriously waste an afternoon away for nothing? I waited about 10 minutes and was not overly impressed with the talent on this day (man do I miss the days of Princess and Ellie). Finally, when I was about to leave, Maya walked in. Before she went to change (unchange?) She stopped by, said hi and said she would be right back. She was, and we were off to the corner booth. Maya always knows how to make sure you leave very happy - and today was no different. From potential disaster to happy days...good old BML came through again.
