Solid 8.5 out of 10. Recommended.
Was back in NYC for the weekend and decided to check out Flashdancers at about 10pm on a Friday night. Located walking distance from Times Square. Club was very dark but pretty spacious and upscale but not overly so. Big main area, shared VIP room and a private room for the high (very high) rollers. Got pretty drunk but if memory serves there were ~60 patrons and about 25 dancers or so. Dancer quality was above average, lots of 7's and above. Lots of European/Russian dancers.
Staff was friendly and our group of 5 was seated right up against a side stage. The side stage was a good way to window shop without getting constantly approached by the dancers. Tipping at the side stage almost always got the dancer to come over after her set. Lap dances were on padded benches along the walls. Bouncers weren't too attentive to what was going on during the lap dances. Some dancers were hands on, others less so or not at all. None were overly pushy. Many dancers didn't bother with the BS small talk when they approached our table - they usually picked out their target and straddled them / rubbed on the Johnson or whatever which was a welcome change. I hate hearing the BS back stories the dancers cook up. Our table blew through about 4K, again a couple of guys got extras but it varied from dancer to dancer. Will be visiting again when I'm in town and in the mood.
