Is Sunset Strip really a strip club?

Located right off the freeway, it has its own moderate size parking lot. Exterior is unremarkable. Small entrance area with a pleasant woman collecting a $10 cover fee. Doorway opens to a fairly large room facing a stage. Bar is to the left. The interior looks in good condition, both building and furniture. Past the bar to the right is another smaller room with a stage and tables. Bathroom was in good condition. Bartender was friendly and a beer was a $7/bottle, typical of what you would expect at a strip club. Good number of TVs with various sporting events showing. This was my first visit and I went in around 9:45 on a Thursday night and sat at the bar because there was no one on stage and no one else sitting in the room with the main stage. There were 5 other customers in the bar area. There was also one attractive woman who looked like she might have been a dancer. At no time during my hour to hour and a half stay did she or anyone else get up on stage. During that time a handful of people came and went from the bar area. No one ever sat in the stage area, presumably because they knew there was no entertainment on stage. I am not sure if the situation on this Thursday night is typical or not; but, if you are looking for a busy club with a lot of dancers and some actual dancing going on, this is probably not your best option. I may try another day and time to see if there is a difference; but, i am not optimistic.
