Rachels
I arrived at about 9:00 p.m. on a Monday evening and saw a mostly empty parking lot. I wasn’t charged anything to self park. Cover charge was $10. After paying the cover, I was greeted by a floor manager (looked too small to be a bouncer) who introduced himself by name, asked my name, shook my hand, and asked me if he could help me find a seat. The place was mostly empty, so I figured I could easily find a set without help. I said thanks, no, and walked on in.
Rachel’s have a very upscale look: dark wood paneling, high end fixtures, and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. I walked past the dining area to the left and into the club area on the right and took a seat at one of the two bars. Domestic beer was $7, pricey even by strip club standards.
As expected early on a Monday evening, it was not very crowded. There were only about two dozen customers scattered around. The crowd demographics did not match the upscale look of the club. Most of the patrons looked more blue collar than white collar.
