Dancer's Opinion
Working at a big club in manhattan I would get all these big spenders from Fairfield county telling me how great this place beamers was & how I'd make so much money there. The place looks like a total dive, in fact the first time I went I was a little nervous about the neighborhood & when I walked in I saw a dancer putting money in a juke box I walked out convinced someone was playing a joke on me. But after more rave reviews I decided to give it another try. It turns out the day shift girls do dance to a juke box, but at 8:00 they have a dj. The house fee is $50 every night if you get there before 8, $60 after that, $20 to dj & there's no house mom so bring everything you need. They do have random mandatory days like one Sunday a month and the last Thursday of the month all the girls work as a promo. The girls keep their distance but they're very sweet and willing to help each other out. Every dancer there is of the quality you'd find in the big name manhattan clubs. Don't come here because you can't get hired elsewhere, come here if you could get in anywhere but would rather make similar money by dancing only. All the men who work for the club look like thugs, but it's not the kind of place where people cause problems. The managers are nice, one named Donny is a total sweetheart, but they will tolerate absolutely no drama whatsoever, so if you're that kind of dancer don't even bother. There are two sections of the club. The front room has the stage, a bar, a couple pool tables, and a little room off to the side for lap dances. The back room is their VIP area. There are no private rooms, but there is a separate bar back there. The dance prices are $25 each everywhere in the club. Air dances in the front, contact dances in the back. Most of the guys buy a back room pass at the door and stay in there all night so even though the price per dance is the same the guys in back will buy 10 or 20 in a row on a regular basis. The contact isn't anything obscene, remember there's no privacy. The house keeps $5 from the dances and this is the annoying part. Every time you want to do a dance you have to get a little card from the dj & they count how many songs you have the card. When you're done you turn the card back in and pay their cut, sometimes you have to wait behind other girls. I feel like this wastes time and causes you to miss out on dances. I understand the club trying to protect themselves from unethical girls, but would be much more convenient if they collected at the end. The guys who frequent this club are really nice, they get a lot of dances & tip well on top of it.
