Cheap fun!

This was my first time in Montreal, so obviously my first time in a Montreal strip club. As you can see from other reviews, the two things that set this (and Chez Paree) apart, especially from many American clubs, is the cheap, 2-way contact dances. At Club Downtown each song in the back is $10 CAD (currently about $7 USD). This was for two-way topless contact, though signs on the walls specifically forbid mouth on nipples, as well as any kitty play, so to speak. I didn't try testing the rules out so I'm not sure how much they are enforced by the ladies vs. the management.

The main room was small but fairly well-appointed, including a few nice couch/VIP areas. Dancing was pretty good, but there's very little tipping. I asked, and this is largely because the smallest Canadian bill is $5 (everything else is coin). I did occasionally see someone hop on stage, lying on their back, with a bill (I think $10 or $20) in their mouth. The dancer would get over top of them and give a quick show before taking the bill. I didn't try this myself, especially as it seemed primarily regulars who knew the dancers.

For the most part people were nice, though one of the waitresses did get pushy with me. I had had a drink earlier, didn't feel like another one, so when I sat down I said I didn't want a drink. She told me that no one sits in her section and doesn't drink. I was a bit taken aback, but I just got up and moved to another section. It is very territorial - even if I ordered a drink from one waitress, if I switch seats I'd be expected to order another one, which kinda sucked.
