Dancers with Something Extra
I had not been here for about three or four years. The biggest change was the membership requirement. But at least there is no charge for membership as there is at the other lap dance club in PG County, Showcase. I went on MLK weekend when there was a special promotion of a lot of out of town dancers.
But I didn't notice anything special about them. The crowd was not that bad when I went. There were a lot fewer chairs in the main part of the club around the stage. Those chairs are where you sit to get the $10 dances. There seems to be an expansion of the soft couches for the VIP (and more expensive dances). So a lot of people were just standing around.
I was approached by a lot of dancers and several more just walked by. There seemed to more Latin than African-American dancers. Unfortunately all but one of them were overweight, which is not my style. The extra padding did not deter many guys from getting dances, but I was hoping to see at least a few in-shape beauties, which would be an incentive to pop for a few dances at the cheap rate here. As it was, I left after just a half an hour, despite the $32 entrance and parking fee I paid to get in. Also unfortunately, the other D.C. clubs were too crowded to get in. So it was not a productive night.
