Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

I came back to the newly renamed Babydolls after a nearly 2 year hiatus and having heard mixed reviews. First of all the name change takes some getting used to. The decor is pretty much the same except parts of the old couch dance area are partitioned presumably for courts and nude dances. I arrived at about 9:30 pm to a very harried former coworker from DV whom I was happy to see. I wasn't scheduled until 10, but due to the inclement weather they had several call outs and she had been by herself for a few hours so I was happy to start early. Dancers pick their music from a jukebox where the old DJ booth used to be. It has a decent music selection but I'm not going to find any Dimmu Borgir on there.

The stage rotations were lucrative but merciless. Due to the call outs, it was me and another buddy from Cloud 9 (where I work occasionally) and one other girl. Both were friendly and helpful, as was the staff. They seem to be relatively flexible on scheduling, as I explained my situation with my other clubs. House fees are $20 if you work during the week, $30 if you only work the weekend. If you work 7 hours house fee is waived. This is comparable to what I'm used to paying at my other clubs. The dances are $20/dancer gets $13. Due to the hectic rotation there was no time to upsell or inquire for court prices.

I had a very good, albeit exhausting night. The staff and dancers were very warm and welcoming. I would recommend this club to work at.
