Best Lap Dance Club in PDX

Typically, this club would be a huge letdown for me due to the fact that it doesn't serve alcohol. I mean, alcohol seems a necessary ingredient when it comes to pretending that going to a place with half naked women walking around and paying them for their attention is a normal thing to do.

However, I've come to love Golden Dragon, particularly because it's JUST SO different from the other Portland strip clubs. It's not a dive bar masquerading as a strip joint. It's not a friendly happy hour place where you can get cheap beers after work with co-workers so everyone can feel slightly edgy before they go home buzzed off two IPAs.

Nope. This is a strip joint through and through. You pay a cover. It varies between 6 and 15 depending on the day and time of night. Weekends after midnight are the most expensive times to enter. It's worth it, however. You can't get drinks so it makes sense that they charge a cover. The rack consists of four long sofas positioned into a rectangle. You have to tip a dollar to sit at the rack, and I've found that if you tip more than a dollar, you will get considerable physical attention at the rack, like the stripper sitting wholly in your lap and grinding for 15 to 20 secs. This club is kind of a free for all in that sense. I've had girls give me almost full lap dances out at the rack or by the side stages if you just keep tipping 1's, especially when the club is not too busy. The hours between 10 and 12 are not very busy and is a great time to show up for the cheaper cover and for more attention from girls.
