Shimmers

Once again, xoticspot posting drew me to a club. This time two dancers on the schedule at Shimmers caught my attention. This is another of the Portland clubs that seems like a dive bar with dancers working. Average size, funky chairs and tables and a cool u-shaped bar that seems to cater to neighborhood regulars. I ordered a draft ($2!) played a little VP and then moved to the rather cramped stage. Most of the dancers were a bit older here but attractive. The 1st was a dancer named Ruby or Rudy and she had a very athletic and sexy body. I contemplated asking her for a dance but since I just sat down I decided to hold off. Next was a thick older woman who was very interactive at the rack. A cute petite blonde followed her and then the very sexy brunette from xspot with long legs and sultry moves. I hoped to hang out with her but she quickly took off for privates with another patron. I finished my beer, tipped a few bucks to the next dancer (young & very thick) and decided to hit the road. Shimmers was okay, overall dancer quality was better than I expected and beer price was outstanding.
