Christmas party

I stopped in late afternoon for the Christmas party and it obviously hadn't started. One of the bartenders had given me 6 free passes for me and some friends. There were only a handful of customers and there were only 3 dancers working, my fav wasn't one of them that I normally see on Thursday. It's too bad because 2 years ago we had a great time there with plenty of dancers working. I ended up tipping one of the fun dancers that said she would be leaving for a new job shortly but no dances. I stopped in just before Christmas and saw my fav who has back for a few months now. We had our usual fun time and told her I would see her after the new year. I was talking to a couple of guys at the bar and they said that the party didn't pick up till after 8pm and the bartender said it was no where near as busy as the last 2 years. I stopped in earlier this week and was surprised to see a new face on the dance floor. A very cute blond who was thin but a bit young and worked for her tips on stage unlike some of the other newbies that have floated in and out. I couldn't get any dances from her seeing that there were only 2 of them (the other may have been new but wasn't my type) working and both ended up on stage for countless songs and I had to bail. Maybe this is a sign that things will be picking up in the new year. Time will tell.
