I went to the Paramount last...

I went to the Paramount last Sunday around 10pm. It's two-for-one couch dances on Sundays, so how could I go wrong, right? If only I'd known then what I know now.

Around a dozen girls working, ranging from 4-9 in a trough shaped curve and a crowd fluctuating between twenty and thirty customers. Girls did a three song set on stage and were usually back out on the floor about halfway through the next dancer's set. None of them seemed very interested in making any money, a lot of them were either sitting up by the bar talking to each other or sitting with a couple of groups of guys who were buying drinks but not dances. In two hours I was approached twice and said "yes" the second time to Cassidy, a girl I normally would have given a "no thanks." Her laps were just awkward, I almost stopped her after the first song but I waited out the two and paid her the $25. Keoni, Danica & Nadia all could have emptied my wallet if they'd come by and might get a second chance if I feel like dropping in here on a Friday or Saturday to see if it's any better then.
