Not Your Typical Club

I went in again to give it another shot because a friend of mine said he wound up there after one drink led to another and had a great time. It was a Tuesday night around eleven when I entered and saw a similar scene as the last time I visited. There were about six women in the bar total. Two behind the bar, and four sat among the customers. The customers seemed to be mostly regulars, guys middle-aged and older. There was about ten customers total. I took a seat at a table since there was not a seat at the bar after I got a rather cheap beer. There were two stages in the back corners of this small club. They were not bigger than a dinner table and the only used one. The overall condition of the bar was kind of run down and needed a touch up.

The girls working that night were not terrible looking but they were not drop dead gorgeous either. They were on the older end but in good shape with breasts on the smaller side. Two of the dancers were the only ones wearing typical stripper gear. One woman had on a dress and dropped it before going on stage. At one point the younger looking bartender took the stage in yoga pants and a t-shirt and stripped down to her panties. Two of the dancers who constantly hung with their regulars took the stage and revealed everything. At one point they took the small stage together and teased each other for a song. It was a good show but I could not get a good, closer view with the regulars huddling around the stage.

What I liked about my second visit was I could drink cheaply here among other bars in the area. The girls were generally friendly but really only paid attention to their regulars which kind of killed my mood. However there was good conversation with the other customers and the bartenders. I was never pressured for a dance and I saw only one guy get a dance from behind a curtain. From what I heard the girls are very generous with what goes on during a private dance and the guy was there for a couple songs. I heard the weekends are more fun so I will probably stop by to see what goes on. I had a better experience than the last time but the whole regulars controlling the bar is still a little off-putting. If they could get younger, more diverse types of dancers that don't just hang with regulars, I'm sure a larger crowd would come in. Especially with a large university down the street. An update to the interior and furniture would be a big plus too.
