Where I learned about strippers desire for $$$

This was the second club for me and my wife to visit. We went after dinner on a Friday night, in the City, and arrived around 9pm. The place was fairly empty and we got in with free coupons printed from their website. We got great seats next to the stage and were approached by many dancers! Most were 7-8's but one really caught my wife's eye and she spent majority of the night with us. When she wasn't busy, she would come sit next to my wife and do what I would consider "snuggling" with her on the couch. She was relentless in asking us to go to a private room for $600+ and offered "more" than what was allowed in the public area. We kept refusing and as the drinks continued, she got more and more pushy about it. However, we kept declining the offer. We keep her hydrated all night, with a bar tab comparable to the price of our weekend hotel room! She danced for my wife many times and the mileage was actually great - now knowing what to expect from other clubs. We left pretty late, as my wife was enjoying her company, and upon leaving, we were told that we owed her $80! When asked WHY she said because she spent a lot of time with us. Apparently, on slower nights, if a dancer sits with you, you must pay them for their time?!?! I told her "Sorry but the slowness of the club tonight isn't my fault. I treated you to probably $150 in drinks tonight. It was your choice to sit with us. It's not like you were missing out on dancers for other patrons. Have a nice evening." and we left. Nothing said or done.
