Pay attention to the clock
I visited here on a Saturday afternoon in November. I was in Long Island for the afternoon from out of town, and had never been here before, so it took me a wrong turns or two to get my bearings. Two of the "preview" booths were out of order and I had to pop back out to ask the gentleman at the desk if one was working.
I paid for a 20 minute dance with one of the two dancers on shift. But she (or they) were hyper-worried about the possibility of LE, so the discussions were extremely vague. I was given a tipping menu (ranging from $80 to $200) but we couldn't discuss what was actually on the menu - and the dancer didn't bring her "kit" with her into the private room when we started the pricing, so she had to leave and come back after I offered her the tip. I can't say this with 100% certainty because I wasn't checking my watch, but I'm pretty sure all of that time came out of my paid 20 minutes.
The dance itself was very enjoyable - I would happily repeat. But it ended very abruptly when the desk manager called out over the intercom that time was nearly up and suddenly I had 60 seconds to finish or get booted out, and my dancer immediately jumped up and started hurrying around as though she was worried about herself getting billed for any time overages. I would have needed more than 60 seconds so we both just cleaned up and got on with the rest of our days.
