Weird club
I came here on a Sunday night. It happened to be father's day (don't judge me, I was in town for a conference), so maybe that makes things a little weirder than normal. I went into the club around 7pm, paid the pretty pricey cover charge, and went in to the club. I was the only one there. The set up of the club is pretty generic, and pretty typical for the seattle clubs I've been in - basically a main stage with chairs arranged in semicircular rows around one side.
Since I was the only one there for the first 20 minutes or so, I got a lot of attention. I came in there looking to have a good time - I was ready to pay, all I wanted was a cute-ish girl with a decent body. The talent was all sub-par. There were probably about 6 girls, all in the 4-6 range. Pretty typical mix of types - probably 3 white girls, 2 black, one native or latina. None that I could stomach taking for a private dance. I talked to all of them I think, and they ranged from being really out of it, to being semi-coherent. I considered having a private dance with the friendliest, but she was a 5 at best, and she wanted $40 a song. I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
I stayed long enough for a few other people to come in. Everyone pretty much just watched the stage show, tipping a few bucks here and there. It was a pretty depressing atmosphere. To add to the weirdness, there's no waitresses to even break up the silence in between girls - you just serve yourself soft drinks from a dispenser. So it's kind of like hanging out with a bunch of unattractive girls at a taco bell late at night. Actually, I take that back, because I probably would have preferred to be at a taco bell. At least I could get a burrito that way.
