I went to the Grand Opening...

I went to the Grand Opening VIP Party for the New Star's Cabaret Salem location last Saturday night. In a word, crowded: --so crowded you could barely breathe --so crowded it took 5 2-song sets to order a drink and another 3 2-song sets for it to arrive. The poor drink service and overcrowded forced my rating down to 6 for what would have otherwise been an 8+ rated visit.

In fairness, once it got past about 9pm and the freeloading dinner buffet group dwindled a little, things got better. The features were great (Janine is so awesome -- but the DJ wouldn't shut up during her feature which was obviously pissing her off trying to dance and in the middle the drunk dj keeps talking), the club is beautiful (although I hate practically going outside to get to the bathroom), the sound system is great......

As for the girls, I can't call it yet --- because of the VIP Party it may have been stacked with girls that were not indicitive of the club on a regular night, but that night it was at least three 8's for every one 4. So, great!

One thing is for sure, even though it was crowded, loud, no place to sit and believe it or not -- cold, the Star's guys know how to throw a party!!!
