slow night at the No.5

Went to No.5 with the boys on a Wednesday night, mainly to watch the hockey game. Arrived shortly after 7pm and it was dead in there. Literally, it was the doorman, girl greeter, bartender, waitress, crazy larry the busboy, 1 dancer on stage, 2 guys playing pool, and us. It it was our first time here we probably would have walked out, but since we know how the No.5 is, we grabbed a table with a good view of the game. The stage girls were OK with 2 out of 5 being above average. The waitress was friendly and drinks were reasonable at just under $6 for a bottle beer. Later in the evening a few more lap dance girls arrived and by 9pm it was a little busier. I didn't partake in any private dances because they're still $50 a piece! I actually like the slower nights better compared to a Saturday night when this place can get pretty packed and it's hard to find a seat. Girl quality is lower but at least you don't have to compete with guys over everything. All in all it was just another night at No.5, nothing spectacular but it got the job done. This is when I wish there was another real competitor in Vancouver to give guys at least another option.
