I was returning from a trip...

I was returning from a trip to Atlanta and had arranged to meet up with GoVikings on my way home. Unfortunately, it was Christmas Eve (the only time we could get together), and the place we wanted to meet -- the Treasure Club in Greensboro -- was closed, so we opted for Savannah's in Winston-Salem. I arrived at 8:30 and, thanks to the recent review by stillworks, I knew I could get in for free if I brought three cans of food. Probably saved me $15 at the door.

GoVikings was already there and, as we expected, it was pretty slow. There were about 10 customers (maybe fewer, actually) and only about five dancers. The girls were all white, small-busted (except one), and pretty. They danced three songs each on stage, and were topless for songs two and three. They announced that one of the dancers was one of their waitresses, making her stage debut. She was dressed in a sexy outfit, but she did not take anything off. I wish she would have, as she might have been the best of the lot.

I had only been to this club once before (exactly one year and six months ago), and I remember that the lap dances, done in a nice but not-very-private area in the lower level, are topless, low-mileage, and fairly expensive (I think maybe $30). At that time, they had hourly 2-for-1 specials, but during the 90 minutes I was there last Saturday, I did not hear anything about specials. I saw the complete dancer rotation twice and decided to head out, since I still had a long drive ahead of me. Although I had to pay $5.00 for a bottle of water (which I thought was pretty outrageous for a very small bottle) and a $1 tip, it was a cheap night. No fee to park (lot is big and well-lighted and, I think, always free), got in for free, and tipped a few girls at the stage. I don't think *anyone* was doing lap dances that night. It was great seeing GoVikings, though.
