Monday after Christmas tour

Started this tour on the Monday afternoon after Christmas, so I expected it would be sparse. Began to Blondies, hoping to find Cherry dancing. Alas, no Cherry and there were three dancers , two customers.(including me). Moving right along, stopped in Cheeks, same situation, three dancers, two customers. I did get a chance to get updated on the recent drama at the club: amazed they are still open with the dancers quitting and/or getting fired. (Keep in mind, this is Washington Park, and with the lack of available talent,...every club is desperately trying to hire. a dancer would have to screw up big time to get fired...apparently, having a major melt down including spitting on the bar tender, who is the owners son, qualifies as grounds for termination...if you knew you this dancer involved it would be hard to imagine her imploding to this extent...the evil of drugs cannot be diminished and the details provided by the dancers who witnessed this would astonish you.) Anyway, nothing happening at Cheeks, so I moved down the road and in desperation ducked into C-Mowes. Even worse. I was the only customer and two dancers-one of whom said she was leaving. That would leave one dancer who looked very much like she might just be barely legal age,(tiny 'lil thing) although she does have the requisite bi-racial child. (ever wonder why so many of these white-trash strippers have biracial kids? Curious phenomenon, no? Speaks volumes about their self-esteem, I suppose) Assuming they were about to close, I took my act to WiseGuys across the road. In retrospect, I question why I bother going elsewhere other than WiseGuys: I have been extremely lucky at this bar and today was no exception. Slow day, about 5 dancers shuttling between tables to the few customers (keep in mind, this was Monday after Christmas in the afternoon.) I was approached by a cute brunette and we hit it off immediately. The price was right,($200) excluding the $15 tab for her Blue Motherfucker libation, and enjoyed myself and felt very good because I produced some enjoyment for her as well....it was nice having a sexy woman, responding to your efforts to make her happy. Does wonders for an old mans ego, you know? Made the whole afternoon worthwhile and I shall return and request this young lady whenever possible.

Overall, my impression of Washington Park clubs is that they are circling the drain, with the exception of Hustler, Hollywood and Wise Guys. Dollies maintains a niche as the $50 blow job emporium; Cheeks has really hit the skids, and whats left of their their dayshift crew is not worth the cover charge....cant speak to the night shift because I dont have a death wish and wouldn't venture into Washington Park after dark. I assume their night shift is mainly AA ...if your taste runs that way. I cannot understand how C-Mowes generates enough income to keep the lights on. Blondies is a wasteland. Please evaluate this review in the context of a Monday afternoon after a holiday, but it does illustrate how far some of these clubs have deteriorated.
