It has been four years since I last visited Miss Kitty’s. I was last here in December 2012. Not much has changed. The parking lot is fairly well lit and a security guard stands outside watching the cars. The cover on a Friday evening at 22:30 was $10. The club has to buzz you in through the door. There are three stages. Two are island stages with poles out in the seating area. The third is a tabletop stage against the back wall. Back four years ago, all three stages were tabletops and located against the back wall of the club. New ownership has made some small improvements in that regard. A small plastic cup of soda was $4. I asked for a ginger ale or a 7UP and was strangely given a cup of club soda instead. The music seemed to be mostly rock and classic rock.

There were sixteen dancers working. In regards to the hierarchy in Washington Park, the dancers are not as attractive as Hollywood’s or Hustler’s, but better looking than the talent offered by the sketchier clubs in Washington Park. It seems like some of the younger dancers working here might have not been able to make the cut at the two aforementioned clubs due to postpartum being too evident or having excessive tattoos. For example, Kourtney (brown-eyed brunette) and Kaley (brown-eyed blonde) are both fairly young and in decent shape, but the baby damage would keep them from getting hired at Hustler and probably Hollywood. Then there were also a couple dancers pushing 40 or too chunky. There was one tatted, 23 year old dancer who I’d rate an 8. I steady tipped her and was seriously thinking about taking her back for some lap dances. You have to pay a $10 fee to use the lap dance room, and then lap dances are $30 each. I was tempted, but resisted dropping anything more than singles on the 8.

The egress is the same door you come in. I actually tried to exit through a door in the corner of the club that said EXIT above it and found out that it was the door to the VIP rooms. Luckily, I did not walk in on anyone. The club was very dead for the ninety or so minutes I was there. Sometimes there were as few as three or four customers, and this was prime time on a Friday night! I’d recommend Miss Kitty’s lower its prices instead of trying to charge the same prices as the top-tier clubs in the area.
