expected more from a a renowned name in a major city

Went to the Hustler Club at a recent bachelor party...it was a so-so experience and fell short of what I would expect of a name brand place in a city like NY. Pricey for what you got, and the club felt a little dated and like it could use a little loving, drinks were pricy but not outrageous and the girls were under-par from what you would think of for a world-class city. All in all not a terrible place, but I do not envision myself ever returning

We started with an open bar package, which was $125 a person for a 2 hour, top shelf open bar. But that was an issue at check in when the organizer found out that what was pre-arranged by the front desk attendent was actually the $150 package (the sole difference being $25 in "beaver bucks") no big deal, the manager was gracious enough to us, let us settle up for $125 each and then showed us to our seat.

The bartenders were fast and prompt with service, and obliged us all of our top shelf request (grey goose, kettle one, johnny walker and the like), so on that end i guess we got our money. The club was relatively empty for a Saturday night at 11pm, which was a bit shocking. We had a nice little corner reserved to ourselves and the dancers came by every so often and there was a nice little smoking patio on the roof which overlooked the hudson, which was a bonus.
