Slow, but high mileage

Synn has a strange location, on the corner of two major streets in the Valley and sharing a parking lot with an auto repair place. You can enter from Sepulveda and make the trip behind the building, or go through the auto repair shop on Roscoe, which is the more discrete way. In judging who attracts a more negative element, it is a close call between Synn and the auto shop; my last visit I saw one of the auto shop employees taking a piss into a stack of tires laying against the building. To each his own.

Overall, the club is small and, from what I have seen, dead. Entrance is usually $5, I have never been charged anything else, regardless of the time. The club has a single stage for dancing, and it can go 20 minutes between uses on most afternoons. I was there at about 5 pm and there were 4-5 dancers mulling around and maybe 3 patrons. Dancer quality varies wildly, from plain disgusting to some real hotties. I don't think I have met any dancers from here that weren't Hispanic or African-American (the best looking tended to be the AAs), which is fine for me but if you are looking for some more variety, you'll have to venture elsewhere. One would think that having 5 dancers for 3 patrons would be good, but often that is not the case at Synn. The dancers don't circulate well, and sometimes (often?) you can get stuck talking to someone you don't want a dance with simply because there is no one else that they can move on to. If you are lucky enough to see a girl that strike your fancy, and even luckier to catch her attention, the dances are high mileage. Topless for $10, nudes for $20, 3 for $40 nude and VIP is $105, though on Thursdays the VIP drops to $75. The VIP is the way to go, with curtains and privacy in all the booths. Mileage is high and you can touch anything that you'd like in the VIP. Although I have never been explicitely offered more services, I get the impression that they are easily obtained if you like. I actually like it here, but if you want a busier feel because sitting out alone on the floor bothers you, then this may not be your place. The waitresses are friendly, but the drink selection is minimal, to say the least. Get your VIP and get things moving. This place isn't fancy, but a relaxing time can be had, just don't bring your bachelor party here expecting a blowout.
