Not if you Paid Me

You can guess where I'm going with this review. I'm visiting Atlanta. As is my customary pre-trip routine I look up places to go in Atlanta. Very short stay so only one night where I could go. So after checking reviews on every club in the Atlanta area I decided on Follies. I go there, easy enough to get to. I'm pulling into an overcrowded parking lot where a bouncer is throwing a guy out. It only got a little stupid and not the bouncer's fault. Pull my car up and the bouncer comes up to me and says $20.00 to park the car. That should have been my first tip, but I figured what the fuck. I get up to the door get wanded and frisked before I even walk in the door. I'm then escorted up to a window where a young lady asks me for another $20.00. I'm thinking "Really? Damn I've come this far." I pay. I walk through the threshold into a mob scene. Not so much my cup of tea but I'm sure I can find a seat somewhere or at least a spot to hang. I work my way slowly all the way around the large square bar and finally find a spot. It happens to be right next to the waitress station. The bar maid is getting bottles of booze from some guy, so I patiently wait until she gets them over the bar and into the spots they need to be. This takes about 10 minutes or so. Now I really looking around the club and can barely see anything because it's so poorly lit. Most of the ladies I see are on the outer edges of the club, which is quite big, a few trolling the bar, and a couple dancing. Of the ones I could make out I'd say between 4's-and 7's. So now the barmaid is done and I try to get her attention she looks dead at me goes to a part of the bar where her bag is and gets out an e-cigarett and starts puffing on it. So I think maybe she's pissed because I'm in the wrong spot I move to the other side of the station as she attends to a waitress's needs. Then a guy walks up to where I had just vacated and she serves him. I try 3 more times to get her attention twice she looked me in the eye and neither time did she come to serve me. I decided they got enough of my money. I left. The place was loud, way too crowded, I got snubbed by the barmaid and I wasn't impressed with what I saw of the "dancers". I look at it as a poor investment. The next time I'm in Atlanta. I'm going elsewhere.
