This was my first trip to the HL since The Incident - I waited till reviews seemed to indicate that things had returned more or less to normal.

At this point, I'd say it's pretty close to the good ol' days (in my limited experience, I've only been dropping in occasionally for a year or so). The place was PACKED on a Friday afternoon, plenty of dancers and customers alike. Both parking spots and seats were hard to come by. I saw a few old friends (Leslie, Nikita, Amanda) along with what seemed to me to be an unusual number of new faces. Guessing there's been a lot of turnover?

Anyway, the dances: Only difference I saw was on the floor. A couple of the ladies pulled away a little and cautioned me that we had to be more careful on the floor. Still plenty of touching, grinding, and a some stick shifting, just not quite what it once was. In the back, however, things seem like they were before, at least with girls who know you. I got dances on the floor from a few ladies, including one on the floor from Amanda before we realized we needed to go to the back. Either two or three songs (I'm honestly not sure) of Amanda's consistent quality company and $100 later, everything was as it should be. Good times.
