Longing for the good old days

There was a time you walked into this place and were greeted by familiar, friendly faces, sometimes a hug from a dancer or two. Lately... not so much. Mgmt was always interested in collecting their fees, but you got a smile and a handshake, even an escort to an open table. This visit, it seemed the guy at the counter was doing me a favor by making change. The girls were always friendly and interested in developing clientele not just peddling dances. Stopped by after my company's holiday party. Only familiar face was the waitress. There were several very good looking girls, and several above average, so the quality of the entertainment is good. But, maybe taking a queue from mgmt, they seem to treat the patrons like ATMs. Found a better experience with a couple "new girls", shy, less confident, but also less jaded. Might just be a bad day. Maybe too much turnover. I come here for an escape from reality. For the most part, that atmosphere was missing on this visit.
