Came in after a Ravens game and it had been awhile since I came down to the Block. It looks like the Fun Police have accomplished their mission. So many clubs were shut down and it was so dead that the police presence that I had come to expect around closing time was no where in sight.

Norma's has officially become lame. It's everything that you've come to hate about strip clubs all in one place. The "champagne room" section near what used to be the dressing area is now just a bunch of beat up, ripped chairs scattered around an open space. I saw dancers get on stage and do 5-6 song sets and not remove a stitch of clothing... and they still got tips. I paid for a private dance and was told that they can no longer go topless on the floor?!? So if that's the case, why pay $20 per song if you don't take off any more than you would for a $1. And what's worse, they've voluntarily become a pastie club. Some of the dancers, the old washed up ones I'm sure, decided to start selling pasties for extra money and now the club has made them mandatory.

Norma's is no longer a Gentleman's Club. Now it's a place for women who want cool points for bringing their man to a strip club. Attention whoring at it's finest. Baltimore surprisingly held on for a long time as the best spot for full nude/full contact clubs within the DMV, but it looks like those days are over.
