Friday night at Rock Za.

Im on a mission to finally visit every single strip club in Hawaii and I have found myself going to Rock Za more than once because it has so far been my favorite of the ones ive been to. A tip for anyone looking for a lot of girls and energy: things don’t start picking up till around 930pm to 10pm. Before that its fairly slow and quiet in there, a good time to just have a chill drink and watch some of their girls dance and maybe even talk to them a little before the real crowds come in and when the dollars start coming out.

Rock Za has two stages, one near the entrance where you pay the 10$ cover charge (if you pay this cover, you get 5$ off entrance to Ballerinas) and then there is one in back where the bar is. The stage in the front is fairly intimate so you can sit close and get a nice view of the girls. The one in the back is a bit wider and longer and there are two smaller platforms off to the corners of it where you can practically have a one man show. The Side platforms maybe seat 3 each. It does get a bit crowded around the stage as the seats along the walls and the bar fills up, by 11pm the place will be full. Generally speaking the place seems clean and fairly nice. The stages, chairs, and platforms appear clean. It doesnt have the home-made run down look of other places ive been like in a lot of hostess bars. There seems to be a VIP lap dance section off to the side, although i have not yet partaken.
