Famous Mons Venus?

Was in Tampa for business and decided to visit the "famous" Mons Venus for the first time. I heard so much positive about this place both through TUSCL and word of mouth so I was very excited to see what it was all about. To say i was underwhelmed is an understatement. I knew there was no alcohol but if the club was as good as advertised then that would be ok. But the club was dingy inside and out. There were several very shady characters in the parking lot when i arrived it almost convinced me to turn around and try something else.The inside of the club was dark, small and worn out. There was very little if any where to sit. There was no area for private dances, although I knew that from previous reviews. But the biggest disappointment of all was the quality of dancers. Most were either overweight or bordering on starving skinny. No Florida blondes (my type) and mostly ethnic (Cuban, Mexican, Asian etc...) which is Ok if they were decent looking...but most were not. They were also very pushy asking constantly if i wanted a dance. One older Filipino dancer actually grabbed my arm and tried to pull me away from the stage..To top it off there was a group of very drunk guys who were very loud, obnoxious and down right rude to the dancers and no one in the club did anything to get them to calm down. I had one dance with an average brunette. The dance was very uninspired ..so I cut my losses and left. I assume this club has declined over the years or i was just very unlucky!
