Small Town Value

I visited Golden Horseshoe after trying some of the other clubs in the area. It does not have the atmosphere of a place like Foxy Lady, but is far more pleasant that Paradise City II. There is minimal signage on the exterior of the building, and parking is ample enough for the crowd this evening. The real issues however begin on the inside. It is readily apparent that the building that Golden Horseshoe occupies was not originally designed as a strip club, it reminds me more of a Lodge hall. This translates into poor lighting and a poor floor plan. If you choose to sit at the bar (as I do) you will be far to removed from the action unfolding in the other side of the main space. There is another massive room off to the side where a random assortment of pool tables suggest that there is not enough revenue to be earned from dancing alone. The good news however is that the girls, while lacking any stand-out talent, are friendly. If you get persuaded to have a private dance (as i was) you will be taken into yet another large space with stalls lining the walls. The dance was fairly high mileage but no extras were offered.

Golden Horseshoe is a fine local bar and a great addition to the town's casino, but neither are really worth a drive of any distance.
