Weekday afternoon visit

I go past this place every day on the way to work. I had visited years ago but had not been there recently. I figured I owed it to myself to give it another shot and see how it was. Well, not much has changed. Yes, that part was very nostalgic. However, when I go to these clubs, I'm not interested in nostalgia. Anyway, i got there mid afternoon on a weekday. Just a few other patrons when I walked in. Sat down and didn't see much going on. By the time I finally got noticed, I ordered a drink. Shortly after that, a girl came out to dance. It wasn't very enthusiastic and she wasn't a looker by any means. Sipped my drink and casually watched her dance. I started talking with another guy who was seated nearby. Just shooting the bull about sports, work, and politics. Ended up ordering a couple more drinks and staying for about an hour a half. Stayed that long more for the conversation with the other guy than the dancers. Seems like a decent place to hang out, have a few drinks, and observe girls trying to be sexy.
