Not much has changes

Haven't been here in months and not likely to return for months. $5 cover to get in. Nothing has changed about layout, tables, chairs, or dance location. I was hoping, like last time, to connect with an AA dancer. There were several, in a variety of heights and weights. A couple caught my eye, but they were occupied with regulars and never moved away from them. There were a couple of average white dancers. I sat alone for a while, watching the football game. No one was dancing on the little platform dance stage.

Some guy came and sat a few chairs away at the bar and asked what was happening. I said, dancers are hanging with known quantities, I'm watching the game. Over the next several minutes he tried to get the attention of a couple of dancers, to no success. He finished his beer and grumbled and said he was off to Scores.

Yep, that would have been a better choice.
