Well, as you can see it's been several months since my last review and I want to post an update. I've been visiting Bottoms Up more frequently as the quality of dancers has improved dramatically. Yes, there's still some of the same old gals who are past their prime, but the line-up is now peppered with a few young cuties. Don't let the crappy area and run down appearance of this club discourage you. As it's always been, the environment is laid back, warm and friendly. Beers are $6 bucks and I think happy hour is 5-7 when they're only $5. The bartenders are all very cool and one thing I like is if you signal them that you're going out for a smoke they come over and crimp a clean napkin over your beer to indicate that you're coming back. I leave my money on the bar because I know they're watching it for me... never had a problem. The clientele is mostly Hispanic and the dancers are mostly Brazilian. The mix of dancers now offers something for everyone. If you like a pretty face with a hot slim body, you got it. And if you like a big fat ass you got that too. Private dances are available for 20 bucks but if you politely decline they don't pressure you. (Although I recommend giving it a try as they are probably better than most places you've been to.) Another thing is that the tip parade is never overwhelming here. A small stack of singles will last you quite a while. There's a completely different staff between day and night. The shift changes around 7PM but whether you're early or late you're sure to find something to your liking. Last thing... they might close early if the business is slow. I've seen them shut down before 11 but Thursday thru Saturday they will usually be open until 1 or so.
