Last of the Old Breed

Very unique, down-home, mom-and-pop style club. Driving by you'd never know that there might be a club in the back of this barber shop, drive-through chicken and beer pick-up window, and diner bar in front. Park at the church across the street. Walk into the diner restaurant and there are two grandmothers who sit at a table selling candy as a front to take your entry money to get into the back. When you enter the club through the swinging door, there are tables with hand sanitizer and tissues with guys getting dances from mostly black dancers. There's also people standing along the left side of the walls getting dances while standing. The dancing stage is more like a disco dance floor where stray girls wonder around and don't really dance. They're just waiting to get chosen by a customer. There's a more private area near the back with a bar but I think you have to pay extra to be in that area. There's also waitresses who walk around to bring you drinks and also sometimes just complementary chicken or ribs if they have some left over from the takeout window in the front of the building. Don't think this place will be around much longer so you have to go now to appreciate the charm before it gets knocked down to be replaced by another fast food restaurant.
