not your typical club

went to follies sunday night. got there around 8pm, left around 1pm. have been here before. parking is valet in the actual parking lot. adjacent parking lot available. not a nightmere, but not super convenient. last time i went there was a huge line and wait. however, this time, no wait. showed my ID, paid $10 cover and walked inside. I am used to quiet clubs, with good music where i can just chill. THIS IS NOT THAT CLUB. While it wasnt super packed at 8pm, it was pretty busy. There is a bar in the middle, a few stages, with large ones on each side of the square room. Bathrooms are located far right as you walk in. There are two green curtained rooms; 1 far back right, and another left side. Far back right is less private per the dancers and my last visit. Shared area. Didn;t really like it during my last visit, so I was curious about the left side. Asked the dancers, and they said left side VIP area is actually two separated rooms that immediately lead to the actual VIP room. I would use one of these rooms. Prices range from 150 -300. Prob can get it cheaper on a slow night, however, doubt there is a slow night. Lets just say i had a gooood time in the VIP. My bigger gripe is like a little more light in the area of private dances. Not dark, but not bright either. Also, prob at the worst moment, the bouncer checked on us. Another gripe.

There are people standing and couches too. LAP dances occur right where you are for the most part; some dancers try to take you to the couch if its really packed. Most of the dancers were having a good time with lap dances with the customers. One girl seemed bored and checking her phone while she was bouncing away on the guy. $10 per dance, and at now time was i expected to tip. Personally, thats one the draws to the place. Also, the wait staff werent super pressurey into buying drinks. Bouncers were friendly as well. Nude dances are a plus. Also, even though a girl sat with me and chatter thru two songs because she didn;t like the beat, and danced 1 song, she only expected pay for just that 1 song. I really appreciated this. Some other clubs, the girls would be sneaky, and sit thru a song, dance a song, and expect payment and tip for both. Also, non pushy nature of wait staff was also a draw for me. I go to strip clubs to see naked girls, not to drink or chat,,,,so thank you follies management for hiring strippers and staff that allow this. Another reason i would come back. I also like petite girls with big fake tits. Not necessarily the place for this. But, the super friendly and non-pushy girls made up for this. Pretty, various mixed races. Prob more african than caucasian. By the time 1am rolled around, it was annoyingly crowded - no room to even walk. Dollar bills were on the floor, and some better looking girls kept to specific places. BUT, unlike other clubs, it wasn;t that super hot stripper strapped to 1 regular guy and not walking around and just talking. They were there, getting paid, and getting naked. Not a super pet peeve, but for a place like this, waterless hand sanitizer should be available. Be prepared to stand when coming here. Overall, i definitely would come back prob same time same day of the week. I would only bring a bunch of $10 bills. Singles if im planning on hanging around the stage. $100s and $50s, if im planning on VIP.

Ive been to Hong Kong and it is by the far the ideal club for me and my tastes, however, follies is a great option here in the US. But, please remember, this is NOT a chill on seat and watch the dancers kind of setup. You will have fun.
