Mediocre club full of ROBs
I was passing through here on a long drive up the east coast. Scores is kind of hidden off the main road. There is ample parking and I felt safe. Cover was only $5. The guy in front of me was trying to pay his $5 cover with a credit card and the machine was not working. I was able to cut him because I had cash. If you have to pay the $5 cover with a card, you are going to have a bad time at this type of establishment. That should give you a clue about the clientele at this location. The inside is nice and big with a large stage and plenty of tables. Lots of good looking dancers and cute bartenders/waitresses. Beer prices were reasonable. In fact, I really liked the atmosphere/ambiance of this club. What I didn't like was the price room configurations and the same old stripper hustle games. I am a seasoned veteran of gentleman's clubs and I don't have time for nonsense. The basic lap dance room is a community room with minimum touching. Dances were OK if you had the right girl. Constant hustle to up-sell to the more expensive room options. The middle-tier room is about $150ish for a half hour. It is a private booth with no curtain and a bouncer walking around to check in on you every few minutes. Stupid. Then there is the Sky Box which I was quoted at $500 for a half hour (prices vary by dancer, YMMV). I was told a lot could happen, but I could not get a direct honest answer of what would actually happen. I have been hoodwinked many times at clubs, so if you can't give me details, I'm not risking it. I'm a business man, so I don't mind spending money, but I need to allocate my resources to reduce wasteful spending. So the hustle began with a short dark haired girl. I did a dance in the community room which was pretty good and she convinced me to go to the mid-level VIP. After I prepaid is when I found out about the lack of curtain and bouncer. Shame on me for not asking before hand. Whatever, at least I will try and enjoy the next 30 minutes. No. This ROB spends the ENTIRE 30 min trying to up-sell me to the Sky Box. She keeps promising "totally private" and "no interruptions". I pressed for hard details. I need to know facts when throwing down cash. She kept giving me vague answers so I declined. Then she kept telling me I was missing out and how disappointed she was. Just shut up and dance. I've never been so turned off at a club. Maybe another girl would have more upfront. I tend to avoid the young dancers for that reason. However, I won't be returning to this location.
Overall: OK for bachelor parties or young guys looking for night out. Avoid if you are alone and looking for an mutually beneficial transaction. Unless you like to give away money for nothing.
