Nobody Home
I was driving up Beach Boulevard on the way to Anaheim when it crossed my mind that I wanted to drop in to TJ's. I haven't been there in more than three or four years and I read a few favorable reviews. Sorry to disagree with all the enthusiastic fans, but it was a total waste of time. At the door, I was eventually accosted by the man in charge, who told me it would be $10 cover. I asked how many girls were working. "Five girls," he lied. After patting me down for weapons, he let me in and then promptly disappeared. I could see that the layout had changed from a stage in the middle to a theater-style stage and some enhancements had been made to the general decor. To my right and slightly elevated was the DJ. To my left was the stage and two (not five) girls who were working two customers. The girls were nothing I would spend good money on. So I asked the DJ where the john was. I went and did my business, walked out and then made directly for the exit, and left the premises. That was a waste of time and money. Maybe I'll drop in again, but not any time soon.
