Could be a good club...

Red Garter is one of those clubs that skates by on its location and access to easy but infrequent customers. Located in downtown Indy near Lucas Oil Stadium, there're plenty of after-game patrons, as well as hotel folks like me, who'll give it a try once.

It's a shame because the club could be good. There's free and safe parking in a newly paved lot (rare for in-town locations), a good sized building - enough for two or three stages, and lots of folks in town ready to spend money.

Overall though, it's a miss. The doorman barely acknowledged my entry ($7 cover) and upon walking in, I saw a couple lethargic 4-6 range dancers drooping around the poles. Oddly, there are tons of red velvet wing-back chair everywhere. Some guys were sitting in a row of them, with a few girls hanging around. I went to the bathroom (serviceable and no troll) before settling in along the wall to watch.
