Tuesday afternoon

Was in here on a tuesday afternoon recently and did not stay long. I remember going to this place way back just after it opened. It had ups and downs over the years, and while it wasn't ever a great upscale club, it seemed like a fun place to hang out back then most of the time. I hadn't been back for a long time and now the place just seems washed up and certainly not fun.

Maybe it's better on a friday or saturday night, but during a weekday afternoon they had maybe 3 dancers who didn't seem interested in anything more than their phones. Bar staff was friendly but aside from that it just seemed dark and depressing. I'd look at other options in town---at least during the day shift. Or better yet, make the long drive down to east st. louis if you've got the time.
