Bliss Showclub a Decent Place for your Time

I live very close to Bliss and have been there on a few handful of occasions. The atmosphere was fairly welcoming and the cover of 7 dollars seemed reasonable. The have a full bar but I'm not really a big drinker, their waters and sodas price at $4 and the bartenders have always been very accommodating while I've been there. Bliss is fairly dimly lit with two stages and a $15 lap dance area and $20 VIP area. The only difference between these two areas are the lighting, privacy and quality of seats. The music is fairly loud and the times I've been there on Friday nights they cut songs short most of the time. The wait staff is very cordial and prompt though and do their best to make you feel welcome but not badgered. The music can sometimes be too loud to carry good conversation though. I'm not too well versed in the local clubs but Bliss had a much more homely feel than the few other places I've been to like Alaskan Bush Company.

As for the quality of dancers that leaves a bit to be desired. Most of the women are fairly attractive with all different builds and ethnicity. However I have yet to see the pole dancers do any flashy or athletic feats on the pole and unless the place is really busy seem mostly unenthusiastic up there. The quality is about as mixed as the dancers there are some ghetto looking girls who are just plain creepy. However, there are some who are very nice, sensual and personable. I'm not a picky man and there is usually at least one nasty to look at, rail thin girl there that seem to swoop like a vulture for a dance. Overall my experience there has been fairly pleasant and not too adventurous and I'd recommend it if you're going primarily for drinks and some nice view and to be choosy if you're there for the VIP dances.
