Smoky

I hadn't been to Scruples in a while. I was in the area so thought I'd stop by for a quick visit to see what it's like these days.

No cover upon entering, but it was very smoky. Not so great for those of us with significant others who don't want to have to launder our clothing before seeing our girl. I had a long drive ahead of me anyway, so I sucked it up and sucked in the smoke.

The physical appearance of the dancers was a pleasant surprise to me. Looks-wise, the worst was a 5 and the best was probably a 7.5. There is a wide bar that occupies almost all of the main room, with two poles inside the bar's perimeter. The girls begin by dancing one song on the right pole, do a minor dollar parade inside the bar (most took just $1, and I would have been willing to offer another buck or two), then move to the left pole for a second song. There is very little undressing on stage; generally just exposing breasts. In terms of dancing style, there was very, very little seduction and basically just a robotic going-through-the-motions vibe from most of the girls.
