Changes at the Roxy

Flew into DFW and sent back to the reliable Roxy ... so I thought.

After paying the entrance fee, I went inside, and immediately noticed a change as there were extremely annoying new laser type lights all around. I had not seen them before (this was corroborated by a dancer). I sat down, and of course the drink girl stopped by immediately, and I ordered a coke. There were about 10 patrons inside, and about the same number of dancers. Some were with patrons, and a few were hanging around the bar area which is normal here. I didn't recognize any of the dancers from my last visit here.

After just a few minutes the first dancer stopped by, and after a little small talk asked me if I wanted a dance. "Maybe later" is my standard answer, especially when I haven't even been there for 5 minutes. She left. Next dancer stopped by a few minutes later. I asked about the annoying laser lights because they were starting to give me a serious headache. "Yeah, they're new. We have a new owner". So that explained that. She immediately asked for a dance as well, and I declined again. Drink girl stops by again. I'm still good. Dancer number 3 shows up and pretty much asks for a dance right away. Nope again, and by now I realize the changes the new ownership has installed are going to mean this place is off my "favorite" list in Fort Worth. Oh, and in the 20 total minutes I was there, I saw 3 girls dance on stage. NONE of them went fully nude, despite the fact this club advertises as fully nude. That's just unacceptable bait and switch. And after 20 minutes I was happy to leave because the new lights were literally making me sick.
