Dead on Monday Evening

Dropped by in a Monday night after working late. The place was dead around 830, just myself and 4 or so other customers. Didn't recognize the bar tender, as my previous visits were on Thursdays, but he was friendly. They have only one decent beer on tap, Sweet Water 420. Stella as well, if that's your thing. The talent on stage was particularly weak. Most of the girls were carrying more than a few extra pounds, one of whom did a sad dance to Pink Floyd's comfortably numb. I tried to get the attention of the best looking girl, Veronica, for a bit, but she was being hounded by a pudgy bald guy. Their report led me to think he was a regular, so I gave up and went home at about 930. Sadly, at the time, there just wasn't anyone worth parting much money over.
