Disappointing

This was my second visit to Cheerleaders. The first one, I had an awesome time - but it was on a late afternoon/early evening. This time it was a Friday after dinner time. The place was mostly deserted except for a few (maybe five) guys who seemed to be regulars. Each regular had a girl parked next to him chatting.

I got a bottle of water ($3.50) but paid no cover to enter. The dancers were okay looking, nothing great, and a few things made me decide to cut bait and leave pretty quickly. First, the girls who were not on the stage all hanging out with regulars meant that nobody approached me (or was approachable) to even ask my name until one who came off the stage for her tip parade did. She said she'd be back, but I had no idea how long that would take. Another dancer, a WOC, rubbed my shoulders as she walked by and said hi, but I didn't see her again.

Since nothing was happening and I had to get home eventually, I decided to head down the road to Carnival Bookstore to see who or what was there.
