Never disappoints

A TUSCL friend pointed out to me that my next review would be #100. What better place for a review than Follies.

I am in Atlanta on business and arrived early to stop by Follies. I usually spend 150 - 400 per visit and really wanted to stay on the lower side of that. I also decided that I wanted to have a drink or two and stay for a few hours as I enjoy the experience at Follies.

I arrived about 12:30 and parking was easy (pre-valet). Follies was as empty as I have seen, no problem getting a high chair on Shadow's side. I was not sitting for a minute until an AA dancer that I have met before came up to me asking for a dance. I wanted to have a drink and get settled, but I find this dancer very attractive. She knows her craft and my weaknesses well, so I agreed to buying her a drink and a few dances. So much for my plans. I was able to stop at two and told her to come back that I needed to get situated, etc. She did not want to leave as she was complaining how "slow" it was.

I thought that there was a good mix of quality dancers. Fewer Cubans that I saw in early October, and I recognized a few of them. I thought it was probably 45% AA, 35% Caucasian, 20% Latina. Of course, I could be off a bit with that. Various ages and builds, so something for everyone.
