Halloween Party

My friend & I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 20 years for golf trips and multiple visits to the Masters Club have always been a part of the fun. We were in MB for Halloween weekend and so made the journey to Masters for their big Halloween party. We took our usual seat at the main bar as we have become friends with one of the bartenders and it gives a good view of the overall goings on. No cover for us, as said bartender has given us multiple passes, but a golf scorecard will do the same. We get whiskey & soda, $16.50 for the round but a decent tip always gets us a good pour.

Talent was okay -- only a few caught my eye, but I never really got their attention. Most dancers were in costume as there was a best costume contest that night. That could have made things interesting had I gone in the back. My ATF works at the other big club in town and I had spent a bit on her the night before, so I was just interested in chilling, watching the show and having a good time unless something jumped out at me. The opportunity never presented itself. Had quite a few girls approach me, but I politely declined their overtures. I didn't want to waste anyone's time so most got the message and moved on without too much hassle.

My friend had a good time however, went in the back for a few songs a couple of times and did a 30 minute VIP. He was happy with the mileage received. Songs were $30 per and he paid $350 for the VIP. Overall, we had a good time but it just feels like Masters has been in a downward spiral for a few years now and the better talent is for the most part up at Thee Dollhouse. We still enjoy having a few drinks at Masters and talking to the few people we know, but that's about the only reason for us to go there anymore.
